Mr. Muhammad Asad Sethi is an education entrepreneur, author, and academic leader with nearly 25 years of experience in educational management and institutional development. Since joining Peshawar Model Educational Institutes in 2002, he has played a leading role in transforming and modernizing educational practices across the institution.
He holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Relations from the University of Peshawar and is the author of six Geography textbooks that have been taught across Peshawar Model Educational Institutes since 2007. He also remains actively involved in teaching Geography, Science, and Social Studies.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sethi has introduced numerous innovative educational initiatives. He pioneered the introduction of dedicated Geography as a subject within the institution and subsequently led the launch of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence programmes, making Peshawar Model Educational Institutes among the first educational networks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to offer such learning opportunities to school students.
He also introduced Abacus (Mental Mathematics) as a regular part of the curriculum, expanded science practical activities to junior grades, initiated Food and Nutrition education programmes, and launched the PMS Fit Club, an evening sports and fitness programme.
Mr. Sethi has represented the institution internationally and participated in educational programmes in Japan, Egypt, and the United Kingdom. In 2006, he visited Japan on invitation of the Government of Japan. In 2007, he presented an international collaborative educational project at the iEARN Conference in Cairo, Egypt. In 2008, he was selected by Oxford University Press for an educational visit to Oxford, United Kingdom.
Through his commitment to innovation, academic excellence, student wellbeing, and global engagement, Mr. Sethi continues to contribute to the growth and development of Peshawar Model Educational Institutes, a network established in 1979 that today serves more than 50,000 students through its schools, colleges, and university.
